Subject: 2 24s or 1 48?? productivity vs. operating expense?

Garner Iowa
what would be more productive? two 24s or one 48 row? I realize there would have to be another operator and another tractor, gps equipment, maintenance, ect. but most likely an operator looking at a 48 row most likeley already has both available, and perhaps not fully utilized(especially the tractor and gps equipment) Im not trying to be a hypocrite and bash people for owning large equipment, just thinking out loud. Is one 36 row equally as productive as a 48? I dont know..
