| Interesting and a good way to keep a pump primed when it's below water level in a tank, but I think the hole in the top of the pump body (I'm picturing something like a 1/8" or smaller line coming out the 3/4" cap used for priming it on the top of the output fitting, right?) would interfere with the suction required to fill the empty suction hose with water from a brook or pond that would be below the pump, wouldn't it? The tank on the sprayer would be empty, so it'd be no help in priming the pump after the soapy water in the pump body frothed up. There's a rubber flapper on the intake side to keep water from going back down the intake pipe, but I don't think there's anything on the output side to keep things from flowing backwards. Do I have it pictured wrong?
