WCIN | I have too. I worked 10hrs on some heavy stuff and could have used a helping hand, but didn't ask for any. Then my neighbor needed his gas tank welded up, he did wash it several times with laundry soap and water. Anywho, there were 5 people showed up to BS, then the gas tank arrived, I fired up the torch and stuck it in the filler hole--no prob. Brazed 3 cracks of 8, I started laughing and turned off the torch. Then I heard, "what's so funny?". I said, "I've never had so much help welding on a gas tank". They ALL hauled a$$. It took me a few minutes to about talk my earlier heavy job, then about their vision and manhood. But, 12yrs later, still holding gas.
