Subject: Update (Welding a diesel tank)


Tx		I ended up draining all the diesel and filling the tank completely with water. I welded the crack and a brace and never had a sign of smoke, fire, or explosion. After draining all the water out, I hooked my shop vac(the outlet/blowing side) up to the tank. I removed the drain plug and let it blow air for a couple hours. It dried/ blew all the water out.
