Isn't it possible to have too hard of steel to make a pin out of, won't some of it snap like a piece of glass is a load is put on it in the wrong direction, of say a sudden snap load, I've made a lot of them from truck spring u-bolts without problems, I thought a cylinder shaft would most likely be too hard, whats the verdict? have a great day,,,,,,
parts 145 $ for a hitch pin JD is PROUD of their stuff!!
