AGCO does the exact opposite on their big balers. They provide a couple bolts and pieces of flatbar so that in case you ditch the thing, it breaks away without flipping the tractor.
(It works, fortunately.)

I was amazed by the price of those JD pins too. Kinda figured it was odd when our new 7830 didn't come with a clevis and pin, every other tractor we've bought did, including the 7630. Wasn't about to pay that much for one, so just stole one off the TV145 bidirectional (both drawbars rarely ever get used at the same time!). | |
