Panhandle of Texas

Gosh-o-Friday !! That's a WHOLE lot of coin for a hitch pin !! Which tractor would that go on?

I recently traded for a JD 8410, and it was missing the hitch pin.  I mentioned, in passing, that I wanted my tractor to have the correct hitch pin to go with it, and the salesman reluctantly said ok....I had no idea that he might have paid that kind of money for the hitch pin.. Better him than me, though !!

I, too, make my own hitch pins.  Cold roll will last quite a while serving as a pin.  Drill a hole in one end (for a keeper), and weld a ~large~ washer on the other end, and you've just saved   $ 1 4 5 . 0 0  ! ! ! !
