Interesting. I'll have to ask around. Probably not much I can do about it though, it's a 20 year old machine. And that fact might be part of the cause too. ;~(
But then again, no shanks broke until these openers were added. And I have never broken a shank on my 30+ year old sweep shod Co-op Implements 204 cultivator. I don't know what to think about age as a factor.
