Wow, that sucks. How heavy are the trips? 350? 450? I seeded a quarter of alfalfa stubble last week. It had been in alfalfa for 5 years, and it has been quite dry for the last 2, so that ground was really hard this spring. We have 550lb trips on the 5000 air drill, and boy were they ever dancing going across the field. I have never put so many hoses back on in one quarter! But no broken shanks. We have double shoot stealth openers on it.
