Subject: RE: 2,000,....even with a right angle box?

Lincoln County. NC
All NH compacts have the mid PTO turning at 2000-2200 rpm at rated engine speed. Pretty much an industry standard, so far as I know. Few, if any modern mid mount mowers are built without a right angle gearbox. I've never noticed any drillings or added weight on any of the driveshafts, but that doesn't mean they aren't balanced. For what the friggin' little shafts cost, they could spend quite a bit of time balancing them during manufacturing.
