Thanks for the pictures, I am currently looking at some used plaribus units here in EC IA the main purpose for these units will be on corn/corn fields that have recieved hog manure in the fall.
The hog manure is injected with Dietrich Knives and we don't plan on making strips with the plaribus until the spring. These units I am looking at are not pnuematic, could this cause a problem getting a consistant berm because of the knife track and compaction the manure tank?
For next spring we don't plan on applying any fertilizer with the dawn units but may make that addition down the road. Next spring we will apply additional N via spring sidedress with 28% but in the future if fall NH3 prices come back down this would be prefered. So would having a manure knife track and NH3 knife track cause any problems not having the pnumatic system?
Would u have any pictures of this type of practice.....going into spring stalks that had fall manure with Dietrich units?
