NW Tennessee | I have several acres of ground that I am planning to no-till that needs some lime. We used to always try and chisel in whatever lime we had spread but that is not an option on this ground. Well, if we wait till spring, I guess tillage could be an option, but I'd rather not work it at all and I'd like to get the lime spread now rather than later. We have spread it on top of no-till ground more than once, but I was just wondering what, if any, benefits we won't be getting by not working it in. Is it just slower to activate or will we actually lose some of it? TIA
