Subject: RE: Y Series vs. RR2Yield

Western illinois
how are we ever going to know if the "new" varieties are 7-11% better than the old ones?
they will not sell the old variety and a new RR2yield version of that variety, therefore we
really have nothing to compare to. we should all expect a 5 bpa increase in our farm averages
starting next year? i'm all for that. by the way syngenta is also bragging about their new varieties
being significantly better as well. i have to go get the combine ready now. just started harvesting
these "old" beans that were the greatest thing available last year!
