I have bought old cows, if they are cheaper enough you come out unless they die or the calf dies. Post up above about one segment thinking the other has it made is not what I have observed over the past year, I have wondered how the feeder or backgrounder can buy calves for what us cow/guys get paid (atleast at times) feed them and sell them for a lower price per ;pound, pay for drugs, death loss etc. When calves went up I read feeders writing it is about time that the cow calf guy got paid for once.
Who’s buying these outrageously priced feeders, cows?
