I just planted the two jennies which had been here for 20 years. They were agreeable critters but I'm glad they're gone. If they ever pestered a coyote I couldn't see it but they sure put the run on my German Shepherds. They were well behaved with the grandkids.
They ran with the cows in the winter but they really should have been kept separate on a slightly lower quality ration. Hot feed didn't agree with them.
If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't have them. They never bit or kicked a human but one of them nearly buckled the knees of a 2500 lb. bull when they kicked him with both back legs.
