
| In general, I hate it when someone starts talking about "sustainability" because most people don't know a dang thing about what is or isn't sustainable. They think they do, but they don't.
The first key to "sustainability" on the farm is profitability.
Whatever practice you want us to do on the farm, if it does not make the operation more profitable, it is not sustainable, period.
And if it takes more labor or record keeping/verification, I want to be paid very well for doing it or I'm not going to do it.
