NWMO | What’s your favorite farm job? There’s plenty that I don’t get a big kick out of (scooping grains bins/digging mud out of tillage equipment, etc..) but then there are other jobs that don’t even feel like work sometimes, like I’m just having fun while working at the same time.
To me, running a combine is one of those jobs I love to do. Ever since I was little I loved fall and everything that goes with it. What’s better than a 60° sunny day, harvesting corn, and listening to your favorite college football team on the radio? (Go Huskers!)
I’ve never been involved with making hay but have always had rose colored glasses about making hay. Maybe one day I’ll get to see if that job goes into the like or dislike category!
