Subject: Re: Gravity wagon tire problems

Athens, Illinois
There's a place in Goodfield Illinois called Soycorp 250 County Road 1425 E Goodfield IL 61742-7517 (309) 965-2532
I bought a set there a few years back. $300 for tire and rim. Today???? The guy used to work for DMI, designed the 470's. and he works out of one of the old DMI buildings. Earlier post mentioned wagon breaking apart because of stiffer tires. I also had to do welding after changing to truck tires. To help with this problem I lowered the air pressure and have not had any more problems. You just need enough air so the tire isn't squatting too bad. The truck tires are so much more durable, its worth it. In the building was DMI's test tractor for their tillage tools . A JD 8870 with a 3406 cat with 500+ H.P.
