Subject: RE: Gravity wagon tire problems

Lenawee Co Michigan
If you use the wagons much I'd pay the price and replace your floatation tires. I have two on floatation tires and one on truck tires. All are over 20 years old, but the trucked tired wagon has numerous repair welds and the floatation tired wagons have none.

Note - for some reason the Firestone 16½ x 16.1 floaters are 2" smaller OD than the other brands. If you're replacing all 4 it's not noticable, but one or two it's quite obvious. Better keep them all the same brand name. Firestone tires fit the rim fine but they are skimping on the rubber to make a cheaper tire.
