As a spray foam contractor, I think it is somewhat incorrect to market something as "R-value equivalent" There is no way to measure that. It is just a number the contractor pulls out of his rear. I'm too tired to go into to many details but the R-value test is a sole test for heat conduction. It does not take into effect the heat loss from convection or radiation. So when using R-value for spray foam it is a flawed value... I was just curious about the thickness so I could make an estimate on the dollars of materials used and the amount they charged.
