Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines | I am a spray foam contractor and would be glad to look at your project. Recently, we have been flashing the buildings with 1 inch of foam and then using cellulose to add additional insulation. This is way less costly then using several inches of foam. Doing it this way will air seal the building and sill be cost competitive. I have pictures of the most recent building we did if you like. For an idea of cost, we did a 60 x 70 building with 20 foot side walls with R-60 in the attic for $10,500. We charge $1.00 per square foot for flashing the building with foam. Also the R-60 in the attic cost $1.25 per square foot. We can also do R 44 in the attic for $1.00 per sqare foot. If you use blow in cellulose rather then fiberglass, you don't have to worry about all the studs. I can be reached at 402-360-2626 or questinsulation.com
