THe rubber gaskets aren't that big of a deal, we've got a few that are torn and haven't noticed a big deal. I condur with the closing sheel springs. Keep a few of those on hand. We've got ours on a 3pt conversion caddy. It's pretty much like any other planter as far as maintanance
