Lee Co
the best the 245 would do was 4.5 MPH on the flat in rolling hills it was worse. the ground was fairly soft since it was fall ripped, then ammonia ahead of a finnisher. Most 24 row planters around here have gone to a MX305/8530 or larger to handle it well. I hate to work the tarr out of a tractor all day long. plus the 325 will pull a ripper in the fall after it's done on the auger cart. had a guy call me acouple weeks ago and asked how I thought a 175 hp tractor would handle a 24 row planter and I said fine down the road but not at all in the field. I do believe the is re-thinking his options for next year.
