Subject: Planting speed with a Kinze

Southwest Iowa
This is just a complete curiousity question and in no way intended to start any arguements between the colors of planters out there, but I was just wondering what the Kinze planter guys on here ususally run for ground speed when planting corn? This could all be my imagination, but it seems like most guys around here are just creeping along in their fields with their Kinze's. I'm not a Earnhardt Jr. by any means out in the field, but to me, it looks like my 5.5 MPH would run circles around some of these guys. Is it recommended that they go a certain speed to get the spacing that they want? Most of them end up with great stands and it looks like they do a good job, but the speed thing just made me start wondering and I thought maybe a few on here could help fill me in.
