S.C. Wisconsin | I serve on our township board and have observed what works to maintain asphalt. We hire professional crack fillers for our roads and am sold on the idea. We do not get near the asphalt breakup in the spring that we used to have. I have noticed neighboring township who don't do that have a much greater problem. To me this is penny wise and dollar foolish. Also chipsealing will get another 10 years from a road, but this might not be practical for a church parking lot. Also we are located in Wisconsin and have severe frost so this why we have to keep the water from seaping under our asphalt. | |
