south east SD | Our TV station has been selling them for 20 years now. I went to Mac's Hardware (Dakota's store) to buy something and saw that they had a pile of them on sale. I said how much and they said $12, but were on sale last week for $8. I said you make them $8 for today and I will buy 2!! They said OK. I have a new one in the box and one that I will put out in a day or two as it snowed last night. Just one thing I always take mine down in the winter and set it on a shelf in the garage. Watch out for cats trying too get away as they can really climb and crack your rain gauge!!!. It only chipped the small tube inside and still works fine!!! They are a great rain gauge!!! | |
