Western CO | I've used this same type gauge for a few years. There is an organization started by one of our state climatologists that is a volunteer group measuring precip in nearly every state. If you are already using one of these 4" diameter gauges you might want to join the network.

It's nice to be able to go to this site and see what rainfall was like around the area, or different parts of the country. | |
