Right on.
When the seal starts to leak or you have any suspicion that something is not right (hotter than normal, noisy etc) it is time to fix the insides. Seal leak is about 100% certain to be a sign of bearing wear.
Truck parts- cheap at any truck part house- at least compared to other tractor parts.
