Sorry, didn't see your (fixed) word. It was hiding. I really don't know why the 30" wouldn't work for round-up. I was getting behind the other day and had the neighbor spray while I was planting. Hr runs one of those new Deere 120' boom rigs, and his booms were up around 60" or better most of the time in the field. Dunno why , I run mine down about 16" to 20" like TeeJet says. He even has his booms raied up about 15 to 20 degrees from horizontal , making them far more than 60" at the end. Roundup will work at 10+ gpa rates, so go for it, I just have better luck at low vol spraying and with my 325 gallon tank and 60' boom, I like 3-5 gallon rates.
