north central Oklahoma | Just my own personal experience. Round-up works best at low water volumes, like 3 to 5 gpa. Glyphosate is much more concentrated for harder to kill weeds, but you must break it up very fine for good dispersal to get at least one drop on every weed. Most Tee-jet nozzles are designed for about a 30% overlap on each spacing on 20" spacings. I would advise going down to at least the 30" spacing you refer to, and still I think you will have gaps in good coverage. You would not regret replumbing to 20" centers for good coverage.
