I would think that all the coulters and stuff would be more weight than the rod stuff that is on there now. But the rod just had to go into soft ground. And it had the angle of the "guards" i guess is what they are called, to help pull it into the ground. Pushing coulters into hard ground might be a different story. Maybe if I could find out how much weight per coulter some of the other rigs out there are running might help me. I am still a few years from needing it, but something to think about non the less.
