I do feel bad for your daughter.  Most all farm kids are taught responsibility and being responsible by the time they are 13 years old. I started driving at 12 years old, and by the time I was 14 I could responsibily drive any and all equipment any 'Adult' did. By the time I was 17 I was moving Semi's around the farm and back and forth to town.

As was said, unfortunately 99.9% of the rest of the world does NOT teach their children responsiblity and being responsible for their actions. (don't think so,, just read the news..) So somehow 'mystically' another 6 months or 1 year is somehow going to teach kids something their parents failed to teach them in the first 14 years of their lives.... Yah, right.....
