central Kansas | Thanks for all the replies. I did take it to the dealership and had them install it...was easy, after the correct size u-seal was obtained! The u-seal supplied in
the cyllinder re-seal kit was too wide to fit into the groove, even though all else was correct. Apparently some older cylinders of this brand (Cross) had groove
cut for O-ring (which this cylinder had). Just proves once again that if you want it fixed right the first time, take everything in and match up old and new parts. | |
