Put weatherstripping on mine and it does make the drum run smoother along with making sure the drum drive chain is tight and does not have any slop on it. Also run row cleaners, seed firmers and notched closing wheels.
Have a Kinze split row for beans but like my 900 Cyclo for planting corn.
