I just would like to know, what is the advantage of smoothing out the drum? We have the ripply 36 hole drum on our 400, and don't really seem to have much of a problem, actually we had more doubles last year, but there is now a new brush sitting in the shop. So yeah, what is the point? Is it worth it to smooth the drum out?
