Hertford,NC | Motor is in safe (limp) mode. sounds like the fuel filter stopped up and starved the fuel rails. You can try unhooking the battery and see if that clears the codes but if not you will have to get someone with a scanner to run the codes and then clear them. The truck will stay in safe mode until you have this done. You prolly will have a p1093 code. If that is not it the tranny can also go into safe mode causing the truck to do the same thing. when you changed the tranny filter did you make sure to put the magnet back on the new filter? If it is a tranny code it will be a p7??
