West Central IL | Around here, 3" tile on 40' centers is the most popular choice. We just tiled a field and put the wettest 10 acres on 30' centers, the rest 40'. $600/acre. The experts say "don't skimp on the mains". In other words make sure your main tiles are large enough for what they are draining. You can put risers in those flat areas that pond. Maybe do some ditching to get the surface water to risers. | |
