Chatham Ontario (1 hr east of Detroit) | I really have a strange take on retirement,50 is staring me in the face and I find I have more ambition now than I did a few years ago.Were at a point now farming is easier as we have mortgages paid down and can start to have better equipment instead of working with old junk,I still get giddy driving or working with a newer piece of equipment.I plan on farming at least 20 yrs yet if my health holds up,I might have a boy or soninlaw that want to farmI think ill take pleasure in whatching and helping them and maybe their children.But all this depends on what the wife wants as with most farmers they rule the roost |
