| Was in partnership with 2 brothers - both died a few years apart. Had life insurance paid through partnership with partnership being beneficiary. Need to be somewhat careful, don't deduct premiums or proceeds will be taxed. Also value of policy is misleading - proceeds go into, and are an asset of the partnership when time comes to "settle up" on things. That being said, ins. kept things going, though ended up owing more to surviving spouses than anticipated. | |
