Earlton Ontario | I agree with Omar in relation to Dairy/Chicken/Egg/Turkey quota scenario. There is alot of 50-100 acre farms with in SWO with $2 million worth of quota debt on them. Not to mention the greenhouse and mushroom facilitys that have 10 million of debt on a 20-50 acre parcel......I also here a-lot of farmers doing re-fi as we speak to take advantage of low interest rates and are seemingly taking 5-10 year terms instead of the O.V. or 1-3 year terms. The major issues will be the interest for the big operating lines in crop production I believe. | |
