just a tish NE of central ND | I am thinking about installing a hanging propane heeter in my small shop this winter.I see that Menards has a 75,000 btu (Tempstar)for about 500$. Will I be happy with this type of heeter?
I have been using a old wood burner for long days and a portable 125,000 btu fuel space heeter for the quick warm up jobs. The space heeter is handy and FAST to heat things up,but the the stink makes me SICK and it consumes the oxygen so you have to open the door for fresh air.Having a little asthma , I notice it right a way. It also made the inside of the shop black over the years. The shop it 24x 32......and in .C ND. The wood burner takes longer than I want to heat things up when only doing a small fast project. It also takes up more room than I want it to. The space heeter always seems to be in the way also.A hanging heeter woudl eliminate allot of this.leaviong more floor space.I also have a 500 gallon LP tank available so I dont have to buy anything except the heater and plumbing.
Are all hanging heeter brands created the same ?Are they simple to vent>
Any advice woudl be appreciated! |
