I've said it before and I'll repeat it again,with the Series 60 ,1400-1450 is where the power in these engines is at and by revving it to 1700 or higher is just burning more fuel and wear that is unnessesary.The ECM will not allow the engine to overfuel at any stage,geez you fellas are only pulling 80k loads it should do that with a minimum of fuss and the only time you should see 1700 is in top gear tooling along keeping up with traffic.
