In the spring time, the Minnesota River already has all it can handle. If the flow were increased even more, the DNR and tree huggers would just p--- and moan all that much louder about bank erosion.
After the last couple of days there's a heck of a lot of water to go through these parts.
It'll take some heavy machinery to fix some of this damage
