I was also disappointed the tractor had Continental tires, Firestone would have been my choice. I did buy a Continental for an outside dual when it was ruined due to hitch parts failure and the mounted drill tearing up the outside tire. There were no Firestones in stock anywhere that size on my CIH 7140, but I could get a Continental and finish drilling beans. I was surprised it did quite well, I used the tractor for several years with the Continental with no problems. Probably didn't help the selling price at my closing out sale, though. In answer to the question in another post about airport details, anyone interested can google airnav or Flightaware websites and search for Crawford County Illinois airport and see the details of our airport flights. Friend of mine loves flying, says "Time spent at the airport doesn't count against your lifespan." |
