The odd rod is a machined design with a double tang.  Vibration was my concern. 

  And the odd piston with the odd rod IS the 197-9328.  The other five are 187-9740-22008.  The different piston part number didn't concern me near as much as the different rod.  I quess they ran short of the "old" style and threw in the newer design to finish the set.
