| It works for a lot of folks, or so they say. It wont work for me and it wont work for a few others. I cant go that fast. The local results from the demo machines in my imediate area say that any slowdown form its optimum speed in seed, will cause shatter loss and possible bunching in certain conditions. The amount and severity(sp) of the bunches depend on conditions. The larger chassis is I believe able to, and has been known to, run at over 200 hp. That takes a bit more fuel to run than my 105 horse 4cyl cummins in my MacDons.
Not sure where you are located, but here, often times we'll get several nights in a row with no dew and even a warm wind will blow through the night. In those conditions, just the speed of the front drapery hitting the seed at 12mph will shatter a lot. | |
