Crawford County, Robinson, Illinois | I understand the comment about the driveway, should have been behind a building. Farmers much be getting more citified than I thought, when complaining about a cornfield. Local accountant was once told it must be rough for him at tax time, what with so much to do. He replied the worst time for him was in the spring, when visiting with clients. Seems everybody insisted on serving him Iced Tea, and the corn was only a few inches high. I live at the edge of town, and must be a real hillbilly, according to what I read here. My rule for moving to town was that I would not live in a house where I could not relieve myself behind the house with nobody seeing me. I understand I would not want someone exposing themselves to me or my family, but a discreet whizz when just arriving shouldn't be such a big deal, often I have trouble making it to the house! |
