West Union, Illinois | Is this an expensive hobby? It's like any other hobby, it can be if you let it. We were discussing a local farmer the other day who shoots skeet quite a bit. The comment was made guys standing around with their $1500 guns make fun of his old Remington ... until he takes the money home. It doesn't have to be that expensive. With reloading your own shells and a good but not super gun it can be a reasonable hobby. But like any other addiction it can quickly get expensive.It's like a few other things I was never good enough at to really enjoy.
