| E718, When you first turn the key on did you get the stop & check engine light to come on for a few seconds & then go off? If yes when cranking did the stop & check come on & then off? If no on question one or yes on question two you have a power supply to the ecm problem.
On Freightliners it is very simple to make up a new power supply harness to ecm. You need a inline fuse & 12 or 14 gauge wire that will split off into 18 gauge wire. I don't have the diagram in front of me but I believe the positive wire splits off into two terminals of the ecm plug & the negative splits into 3 terminals.
This is the most comon cause of a no start condition.
If you are getting your lights to work normally we need to find out what code you are generating & the most comon code will be for a failed srs/trs sensor. | |
