Centre,Alabama | I have a 1760 12r30 than has gotten very erratic about raising and lowering. I was told it was the valve assembly where you swap from transport to plant, I put a new one on it and the same result. It seems like air in the hyd system but I can`t purge it like the manual says by holding the scv in the raise position for 15 secs. It will work fine for a time and then when you try to raise it at the end it will only raise by revving the tractor to 2000 rpm and it will then raise slowly and when you let the scv go it will drop on its own. It will act like this for differing amounts of time and then when you start to raise it again there will be a loud pop and it will act normally again, does it on different tractors also. I hope this doesn`t sound too crazy but locally most planters are integral pick up type and we don`t have much experience with a drawn planter. I hope someone has an idea, we are fresh out of them. It is about to drive me and the dealer crazy. | |
